Notice for U.S. Customers

The information below applies exclusively to customers located within the European Union and is provided in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.


If you placed your order within the United States, please refer to our Shipping & Returns Policy for complete information regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds.


All U.S. orders are fulfilled and shipped from our fulfillment center in California. Returns from customers within the United States are processed domestically.


This page is published solely to comply with European Union legal requirements. U.S. customers are not subject to these provisions.

(A “consumer” is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction which, to an overwhelming extent, cannot be attributed to either their commercial or independent professional activities.)

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without providing any reason.


The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day:

 

  • On which you, or a third party nominated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the products, provided you ordered one or more products within a single order and they were delivered together.

  • On which you, or a third party nominated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last product, provided you ordered several products within a single order and these were delivered separately.

You must communicate your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, although this is not mandatory.


To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

 

 

 

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive notification of your withdrawal.


We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.


We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the products back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the products, whichever occurs first.


You must return or hand over the products to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the products before the 14-day period has expired.


You bear the direct cost of returning the products.


You are only liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products.

 

 

 

Exclusions or Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:

 

  • For the supply of products that are not prefabricated and for which an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

  • For the supply of products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

  • For the supply of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of concluding the contract, which can be delivered no earlier than 30 days after conclusion of the contract and whose actual value depends on market fluctuations beyond the trader’s control.

  • For the supply of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts.

 


The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in contracts:

 

  • For the supply of sealed products which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

  • For the supply of products which, after delivery, have been inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature.

  • For the supply of sealed audio or video recordings or computer software if the seal has been removed after delivery.
